Somebody told me you want to leave my side,
I asked you “Don’t,I’ve lived much enough despair”,
I asked you to stay,I begged with all my might;
But you turned away as if you no more care
And slowly,painfully,you walked from my sight,
You didn’t e’en looked back, do you think I can bear
My love gone off to be with someone else new,
I’d be living it down hard;life without you.

Do think of me well e’en if you be leaving,
To say these words caused me a strangling pain,
Sometimes love’s only giving without sharing
It is not only a shelter from the rain;
It is itself a storm and heavily pouring,
Nothig more but a broken heart did i gain
I lost my joy,my hopes and my happiness,
I sing,I cry and I love in loneliness.

Soon you’d forget the finest of our moments
You’d never even try once to remember,
While i would be living in broken remnants,
Still i’d wish you “Healthier and Happier”
Soon you’d know nothing more of our sweet romance
And even of the Seventh of September,
But one thing I ask of you is to remember me;
Forever as loving you truly,deeply.

I’ll not put you to blame nor say you’re guilty
If you choose what you trust is a better way,
But let not my prayer end in vanity,
And remember these last words i have to say;
I’ll get over it if it is destiny,
Even if i’ll have to succumb as i pray
That you’d do the one last thing i ask of you;
“Remember me forever as loving you”
